Set up a DM600C in my region and got everything working after a bit of buggering about - using pli jade 3, evcomd 2.14 and the latest keys.
Took it over to a mates house who lives on the outskirts of Newcastle and obviously had to rescan the transponders to get the channels in that region - i noticed that the cables.xml file i downloaded off here didnt have anything in for Newcastle - closest i could find was Washington Tyne & Wear which didnt find any services.
Anyway stuck it on a brute for scan and after a while got the channels installed - i noticed that there were 2 of each channel - 1 with a poor SNR of around 60% and 1 with a SNR of around 95% that would pick up the EPG.
I had a look thru the channels and could only get some FTA - terrstrial 1-5 plus odd ones like E4, BBC3 etc. The others were just a blank screen despite the SNR being 90% plus - so obviously a signal present.
The keys are the same for all regions so im unsure as to why i could get it to work in my region but not the Newcastle one. I restarted the cam but that made no difference at all. The only thing i can think of is that evocamd 2.14 wont work in that area.
Does anyone else have any ideas on what could be happening, and does anyone have a cables.xml file with the Newcastle settings in so i dont have to bruteforce it all of the time?
