DM600 AU of DM600 with gbox - Help please

    Hey guys,

I've been trying to get the AU to work again with gbox, only I cant seem to work out what to do. I can manually change the nagra file and get it working each key change, but tbh this is getting rather tiring.

Can anyone please assist me with this?

    Thanks in advance.

          Thanks for the replies..

Well that explains that then.. I have the new roms, but the problem is that I can not get any of the evo's to decode.. Never could. Only one that seems to work was the gbox..

I'm using a pli image, just wondering what steps I should do now to install evo (and which is the best version to try), to rule out user stupidity?

tried them all best one so far is 2.13 updates and records fine, gbox is just pooh on 600 not worth the hassle installing it.
            cheers

I've tried evo 2.13 and with the keys from this site, and the roms in the scce directory it will not update..

The steps I took were to install 2.13, clear the /usr/keys directory, ftp the keys from this site, and upload the same files into the /usr/scce directory.. Set to s*y sports 1. Reboot.. Nothng.. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks again for persisting with me..

Blue button does not do anything when the box is starting, goes into the dreambox settings once the box is up though. Allowing me to change softcams, software management etc.

Also tried newcam6.10b but that gives an almost immediate can't decode message..

It sounds like it could be file permissions are not allowing the update. Did u chmod files after ftping?

                            Files like, nagraepr7.bin, nagrarom7.bin, nagrarom7.bin, etc-...put in the /scce folder.

                            Files like, Autoupdate.key, AutoRoll.key, Softcam.key, Keylist.txt, camd_cfg, gbox_cfg, mg_cfg, nagra, etc... go in the /keys directory.

smirnoff_rules, It does yes, another user mentioned file permissions, could this be whats causing it?

                              <--peter_022 added 14 Minutes and 9 Seconds later...-->

osborne82 you are a life saver..

Put the rom's in /etc/tuxbox/scce, restarted dreambox, and S*y sports 1 cleared in around 10 seconds (using evo 2.13). To think I've been manually modding the nagra file for 3 months now..

Hejira - I set everything to have write on the /usr/keys directory as well.

                              Thank you all, much appreciated.
