DM800 ALL VM channels blank but EPG works - HELP

OK I hope someone can help with the "this guy is stoopid" but hey ho.
Just got a DM800 at the weekend, preconfigured and after initial scan all was well with 300 channels. Tonight I can only get BBC ITV etc, but the EPG shows the channels and what is on, just no picture or sound. Missus is going mad after blowing 200 quid on a box to watch ITV. Have just tried a rescan but same issue. 300 channels but only ITV etc visible.

ftp your box

go to var/ and delete the keys and scce files
then go in to usr/ delete any keys and scce file there as well
then ftp back to /usr/ and put your working keys and scce files in there
then
reboot then, restart what ever cam you using

OK, thanks and that sounds like a plan, but where would my "working keys" be?

depending on the firmware
on the box
you may need to restart mgcamd or evocamd via the blue button

I have 4 cams visible via the blue button. It was working using the mgcamd-1.3d. When I select it is brings up a screen saying starting mgcamd-1.3d then goes off but still no picture on VM channels.

What is the point of the RED button that says it has updated and loaded the keys?

you must have nabilosat image on there then ,the red button that is for satellite keys
not sure it it has cable keys
it will only change the keys if your box is connected to a configured router/internet
try evocamd but reboot box first if no good go back to mgcamd but leave for a few minutes after activating the camd,s

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I don't have the evocam. how can I lay my hands on it?

It is running Nabailosat, and yes I have a valid internet connection to the box. Would that have screwed my "keys" then.

This is not easy is it :-(

need to set it up to talk to your box
there is a ftp programe option
which shows all the files in your box on the right and your pc files on the left
on the right to into /usr/ right click on the key folder and delete and then the scce folder
on the left screen you should see the zip file you downloaded and opened earlier
now highlight the keys folder transfer to the box then the same with the scce folder
reboot the box
then restart mgcamd again
