    Question re DM500

    Hi,

Can someone answer a couple of questions for me?

I could not find the PPV fight at the weekend despite doing a brute force scan before and during the transmission. Why would this be? Very frustrating....

Secondly, all the p0rn channels are just "place holders" - eg "Pay ?xx and have a blast" type screens... but I can never find the actual live channels.

I'm running the latest DK image and get all the Sky channels etc (not sure about PPV movies as, again, I can never find them). I've heard that the content you see, particularly PPV etc, depends on what other customers in your area are paying for?

    Yours puzzled,

dont know why you did not receive any of these channels, in all services you should have a number of ppv channels and the boxing was in one of them ppv2 i think it was. the adult channels are duplicated and some are not live feeds but advertising, so again in all services look through all the channels named redhot???, adult channel, playboy, xplicit and so on they will be there. you can move them into a bouquet if you like for easy access
ps check the adult channels after 10pm when they work

To get the ppv channel you may need to do a manual scan on the correct frequency

I'm getting nowhere fast. I deleted all the channels as there was a whole load of dead channels. Did a brute force scan and everything came back - I say everything...everything that I had previously such as place holder channels with advertisements for adult channels etc... No sign of any of the PPV channels I read about on here...

So... Someone suggested I do a manual scan on the correct freq...I'm in Leeds, ex-NTL. How can I find the correct freq? Better yet, has anyone a config file I can load up and get things up and running?

              Thanks once again....
