Need help with Dreambox

Hi Guys,

Need you help please.

The last 2 days my dreambox has been loading up the Digital Kaos screen, then the evocamd icon appears, then goes to Sky Sports 1 for a second then clicks to a black screen, then starts all over again.

Anyone got any ideas

do a rescan and see what happens, are you getting the free view chans. ie. BBC's and itv's?

Need help with dreambox

Hey,

I am getting all the channels, but when you settle on a channel for more than a second it is clicking to a black screen, then starting up the Digital Koas screen again.

Any ideas mate.

Excuse my ignorance, but am a pure numbnut at this.

How do I reflash the unit, can you explain what I need to do.

read that and follow it.
To put it simply process is as follows:
Connect null modem cable to your pc and dreambox.
install and run dreamup software on pc.
downlaod DK latest image for dm500
Run dreamup and it will tell you to turn on the box.
select dk image it in dreamup to flash to unit.
select no to flash erase.
When completed, reboot the box.

Now setup network settings for ftping files to the box.
Copy accross your magic files.
Reboot and do a scan for all channels.
reboot the box and job done, enjoy every channel VM broadcast.
