DM600C - How do I do a channel scan?

Hi,

I'm using gemini 4.3. I have put cables.xml in what I assume is the correct folder. /etc/tuxbox/

I now go into service searching and I don't see anything related to cable in there.

Pli images give me an option to select brute-force uk, but this gemini images gives me an option for simple scan

In this Gemini image there is no var/ect folder.
The new Gemini images service scan look very different from any other image i've tried
I get this working on every other image apart from gemini

Although I don't use it myself but if I was you I would put on the DK1 image that way you will get all the support you need here and i would also keep away from the gemin iimage unless you want to brick your box.

Just for info, this thread is about the dm600 whick dk1 doesn't support at the moment

For Gemini images and nemisis you don't need to use a cable file just go to auto scan and change settings.

once installed go to scan, pick freq steps then step 50 or 25

Go to symbol rate user put in yours (6952/6887)?this has to be input twice to get all 4 numbers then next is qam just un tick
all except 64/128

Then scan, will scan but keep saying failed till around 300 u will see ok start to flash now and again this is fine.


then all u need is your files for scce and K***

you cant,, needs to be done from source ,, problem with uk infobar on normal images not prepared for uk,,, Pli or Cli image has it enabled i believe

I don't think Cli make an image for the 600
Shame since Gemini is the only image I have found yet that has the timeshift correctly mapped to the pause button on the remote

EX cw only works but info bare needs to show for 9 secs as slow to show.
