Cloned Dreambox 800HD with bootloader 75#

I know what you're thinking but you must have noticed different join dates as well as ip geo location

I was merely sharing my personal experience about aforementioned seller, bearing in mind my feedback could just as easily have been negative Isn't it good practice to ask questions and share experiences before parting with our hard earned cash? If not I do apologise.

can you guys explain what the problem is with the bootloader 72 /75 ??

I have cloned dm800hd S version with bootloader 72. Only problem is that you can't use regular updates relased to images by various groups as the security sim module uses some sort of encryption algo which holds the bootloader.

Newer images rely on updated bootloaders for various fixes etc. Otherwise you have to wait for a patched image with updates released with your particular bootloader version.

Funny thing is by taking the sim from an original box and placing it in the clone it becomes 100% original box.

Various traders tend to claim that they have released bootloader 75 compatible sims, some just patch it to show bootloader 75 when it's not. Others mention a 2.01 sim which is able to take updates (not tested).

Personally I would say how often do you upgrade your windows desktop version? If it ain't broke why fix it, most present images are perfectly usable on clones without any issues. It's up to you if you want to pay extra for an original which I also purchased a while back, and I can't say I prefer one type over the other.
