DM500C Front End says SAT

Hello

I'm hoping someone can clear this up for me, bought dm500c (import clone) loaded up latest DK image, The front end appears to be Satellite. Is this normal, or have the chinese sent me a sat version. The front panel of the unit says dm500s but the sticker on the base has dm500c & mac.

Help would be appreciated, it only seems to want to scan satellites.

Looks like a sat box to me mate sorry.
Get back on to your supplier they should sort it for you no problem.

if you have a loose cable tuner this might occur, check to see if its loose and if so open it up and reseat.

its most probably sat m8 send it back they'll get you anew one dont open your box it will void your warranty !

yep its a sat - plugged it into sky dish & scanned. sure enough all channels found.

Looks like I'm off on sat image hunt whilst waiting for 500c !

The DK image also works fine on a satellite receiver.
