dreambox 500c dead

I have a dreambox 500c which after i reflash useing dreamup (many differnt images), the screen is always black and i cant get any menus to come up. I have tryied differnt images with no sucess and i have tryied to reflash on an other pc with no joy. The scart is fine, the box reflashes fine. Have you guys got any ideas please.

I'd try connecting with phono leads first of all, just out of interest, assuming that's no better check the power supply, it's probably the most likely cause of the problem.
