40 Custom Officers and Police Officers broke in Dream Multimedia's HQ
offices in L?nen (Germany).
The warrant search was extended to private houses of CEOs and share
holders (T*m Ziem*nn, K*y Ziem*nn, J?r*en Leu*ring, Di*k Gl*nz and
the turkish Asl*n).

The break-in is apparently motivated to a Custom malicious wrong
declaration of embedded modems on DreamBox's STB. At present
private belongings of the owners of Dream Multimedia have been
confiscated. Rumors say that Custom is claiming 6 years of importing
DreamBox STB without paying import duties due to the embedded modem.

Presumably searches would be extended to all companies that have been
importing DreamBox Set-Top-Boxes in the next coming months for duties
claims in Germany and almost all EU countries as it is now proven that the
non-working modem was installed for tax scams only.

Up to now all the stock is under Custom?s block and no goods will be officially
released. It seems that border inspection on DreamBox Set-Top-Boxes and
the well known clones of DreamBox will be strongly enlarged limiting the
import of this items in the European territory.

Informers are reporting that this has to be considered the final Knock-Out
to the most famous audiovisual company worldwide and that it all started
from provider?s pressure on stopping Dream Multimedia from producing this
STB becoming more and more popular for the ground breaking card-sharing
phenomenon.

Infact dream multi media was losing a lot from the chinese copies which in most cases are better than the original boxes

Hi. This is Heatblasts old man and, concerning the demise of Dream Multimedia I think reports are exaggerated (sorry Devilfish). If their website is to be believed they are orchestrating a campaign to eradicate the clones.
Therefore, anyone ordering boxes from China risks having them impounded by Customs. It's also possible that all postings to this and other forums are being constantly monitored, to find out who is evading local taxes (findings to be reported to local authorities).
Remember that all internet communications leave a trail that can be followed back to source, so be VERY CAREFUL what you post.
Dream Multimedia are determined to stay in business, so there is no doubt thay will totally cooperate with any investigation and, because of the problems they are having, they will not be content with the 'big fish'. They want everyone.
Having run a successful business for 10 years I know how these people think, so if I seem overly cautious it's with good reason.

And how would you know 3 big orders have been shipped from dmm?
Also I doubt very much above posts was made by china and is true. However I doubt DMM will be closedown.

There is no need to put it on the website i have my cousin working in the large company of UK witch are connected to DMM When i contacted him today they have received chocolates for xmax from DMM and they are very much alive with no problems
