    signal dropping

    my signal drops and causes my dreambox to freeze, any suggestions how i can ask my cable provider to check my signal cause my basic package is fine so cant say my db just dont work, any suggestions welcome...

    just plug in your original box and phone them up and tell them your box keeps freezing they cant see your tv !!! it could be summit else m8 like your tuner

      your signal should be around the 95 mark.

      plug feed into your subbed box, does it still happen ? if yes you need to get your provider out.

      If your subbed box is ok, you will need a signal booster, get one that has a "gain" and a "slope" adjuster on, so you can adjust to your best signal.

        i dont think its my tuner coase my brother lives in the estate and he's having the same problem so i think its the signal, already have a booster but doesnt help, i dont have a provider box as only have the basic package from them

        can you recommend any good signal boosters? I have a LABGEAR 6 WAY TV AERIAL SIGNAL BOOSTER DISTRIBUTION AMPLIFIER but doesnt seem to do any good...

          I recently bought one of these off eBay & it works great.
          CATV Cable TV Amplifier HDTV Signal Speed Booster 220V on eBay, also, Other TV Accessories, TV Accessories, Consumer Electronics (end time 21-Jul-08 18:55:00 BST)

          I've also just bought one of these as I have now taken of another feed to the bedroom & so needed a 3 way booster or higher
          4 way 30dB TV/FM Signal Booster & Amplifier Variable on eBay, also, Other Home Theatre, Home Theatre, Electronics (end time 24-Jul-08 14:22:10 BST)
          This one Hasn't arrived yet so can't really give a review of it
