    signal going low

    hi
    i have dreambox 500c was working fine until i left it on overnight now my signal is going up and down making channels glych and freeze and jump. i haved reflashed it re enterd keys and still the same. i tryed a freinds box and it worx fine with 95% signal,so its gotta be the box, could i have been zapped whilst left on?

    no m8, sat tv nor cable companies can not "zap" anyone's receiver.

    If another db500-c works perfect on the same feed then that tells me the problem is your receiver. More than likely the tuner has packed up or one of the caps has blown.
    Is your db500-c a genuine dreambox ?
    There are many clones out there which are made with really cheap componets.
    I have even found a computer shop in the North West making dreamboxes and selling them that a lot lower price than a real dreambox.

    Looks like you might need a new receiver.

      also you should test your reciever in your friends house just to remove the possibility it is your line/dish/lnb
