DM500 do i have to jtag

hi all i need a bit of help i have a 500c i am trying to flash when i start box up with dreamup it says box type dm500 then dreamup sticks on initiating flash-loader upload do i have to jtag box or is there anything else i can do thanks

that a serious memeory problem, I have never used jtag myself, I wouldk just return it to whom I bought it off and get replaced.

Are you using a null modem cable with an USB port at one end as that has been know to cause problems. Have you tried using a different version of Dreamup? Try flashing with the erase.img image to erase the box.
