Dreambox 500c gone down

Hi all,

I have just lost all the channels on my 500c. There is a box on the screen which says switch in the top left corner and displays "Service could not be found!". I have tried rescanning all channels and restarting evo cam but no joy.

Can anybody shed any light on the problem?

hi gang i have the same prob with my 500c ,exact same but also my broadband went as well 45 mins ago, running on mobile modem to check out site for anyone else with same prob, checked all cables and they ok?????? anyone ?? cheers

maybe a local issue, have a check of vm website. if theres a prob in your area it will say on there

Manchester area, broadband also went down but that is ok now.

Well seems my box in manchester went down around the same time as yours.

Dont wanna jump to conclusions but i get the feeling they have switched to nagra 3.

Altho i think its digital switchover night.

Just leave it till morning and check it then :P

Im having the exact same error in Teeside, have all the boxes been hit?? Just as the Everton espn game kicked off as well!!!!!

yeah, looks like all teesside down. Dont think its the 'end' tho, just a virgin problem in the area

Boxes in barking area is down as well, just got a call fom a friend. and wolverhamton too from last night.
