DM600

Morning chap's

The 600 went down last week say about Wednesday and have only just managed to take a peek at it last night.

Getting Epg sometimes etc (the time isnt updating either) i can see on the info bar that the channel should be there (BBC 1 ITV etc) but no pic at all.

But the origional box on and im getting a picture, :-( im thinking either image fault or may be tuner fault.

Strange thing is mum and dads went down aswell (Same area different district type of thing) There was an issue with VM as i rang them as i didnt have any broadband etc etc(Back up now :-)

Anyone else had any issues recently with a DM600 around the Bolton ish area.

Sussssssed it the box has fried

Opened it up last night and a part of the unit has melted just below where the hard drive is :-(

Must be the combined heat from the amp and the hard drive ah well.

Ok got the Dbox out again (Old faithful) but still need to buy another box, so unsure what to buy, any idea's?

Dont want a MASSIVE box under the Tv etc do i get another 600 or something new to have a play with.
