DM7025 Newbie help

I have got dm7025sc+ and dm500c, I just bougth a DVB-C Tuner for my dm7025+ and set's up the tuner to scan for sevices, but after about 70-80 transponders scan it gives me this error message; ERROR - failed to scan (error starting scanning). I was using LT image but now Pli image and still same error.
What haven't I done right? Please help;

Yes m8,
I have done manual scan, my dm500c with pli image DO finds a valid transponder but the scan finds no servives. My ntl box is showing basic bbc and itv chanels so I guess the line is active;;

Sorry, I forgot to tell you where I am. I live in Erith, kent close to Dartford.
I,m not sure about the frequency of my area but I used something like 6900, 0394, 8753, 0466, 0281, which I saw on the net.

are you in telewest or ntl 0r ex/cable and wireless

I was with ntl, but when I connect the ntlbox, virgin comes on.

menu>setup>service searching>manual scan
chose the cable tuner at the top
type of scan>single transponder
frequency>666
inversion>auto
symbol rate>6887 if not try6952
fec>auto
network scan>yes

i think 666 is the frequency for your area
nearest i could find was bromley

I used the freq. 666 and sybl rate 6952 and I got 346 services. But I think I need some keys as some chanels are not showing, any ideas?

you will get all fta channels like a freeview box
to get the other to work you need to add some files
have you ever used an ftp programe before
is your box connected to a router or any thing

Yet to download some files though. But now am trying to get my dm500c working for my wife upstairs as it's not taking the frequencies you gave me for my dm7025. Please help

Hi mate you said you got c*ble b*x why not go to eng menu and have look for your freq and symbol rate some boxes you can do this with remotes by going into settings

Hello agian,

Have been trying all night
I was using Pli-jade image on my dm500c but since change to EDG Nemesis and have used the frequencies and settings that worked for my dm7025. I have seen the screen short and have used the same setup but it only takes 4s to say 1 transponder scan no services found. But when I used auto scan, it does find a valid transponder but the scan finds no services. Does diferent box got deferent frequency in the same area? Help
