The tuners on the dm500 are fixed or soldered to the motherboard so you won't be able to change them for one box to another box.

You could try but I have never come across anyone who has actually managed to do this with their box.

The honest answer is I don't know but I would say from experience that it probably won't work.

Given what is happening at the moment you'd be mad to butcher a 500S, you're probably going to need it in a few months
