Converting Images to work on Cable dm500

Hi - does anyone have a guide for how to convert (or how to get images to work) on Cable.

I have downloaded various images (neutrino) and they all seem to be for satellite and I cannot get them to work ob cable.

I have tired installing channels and bouquet files (from my dbox2) onto nuetrin images and that does not work.

Are there any config files (specific for cable) that I am missing?

Is there a specific way I need to set the channel scanning paramters for it to work on cable (i.e. in the scan.conf file).

Basicaly I prefer neutrino to enigma - but cannot get a working image.

Any help appreciated.

You need to make sure you have a copy of the uk cables.xml file and you need to ftp this to var/etc on your box.

Here's a cables.xml file for the UK.

Replace the existing file on your box with this and reboot.

If I put that file on a neutrino image will i be ok to scan? The reason I ask is that most neutrino image I have found seem to work for satellite and I cannot seem to scan channels in my area - there does not seem to be the option to set UK cable etc.... Is there any particular way I need to set the scanning options?
