newbie needing help to flash

hey guys after spending sometime learning how to conect flashfxp to my dreambox600 iv master that now after few long days .
im now ready to flash my dm600c clone with a image i was thinking of pli-jade3 or does anyone have feedback on this or a better image for me to use? also can need confirmation on wat sofware to use? is dcc ok with this image ?

im gona use a cross over cable im confused thinking of trying to flash dw neutrino or pli jade 3 wat sofware can i us? to flash these? i hope some1 can help me with this

To flash an image using Telnet

This method will only work with a .img image file.
Rename the image file to backup.img
FTP the image file to the /tmp folder on the dreambox
Telnet to your box and paste the following command:

cd /tmp && eraseall /dev/mtd/3 && cp backup.img /dev/mtd/3 && reboot


To telnet, click START > RUN and type Telnet ip.address.of.dreambox
A command window will appear, enter username root and password dreambox

Doesn't matter how you ftp it as long as ftp it to your box.

There are a couple of ways to put an image on your box. I think the easiest is probably use dreamup, and a null modem.

Seeing as you've just made your first post all you have to do is wait about 15 minutes or so for the server to update and you will be able to download. Welcome to the forums
