are your ip settings on your dreambox set to dhcp
    might need
a static ip 192.168.***.*** say one different to your pc ip
with subnet mask >same es your network/pc
    name server>check your nic settings
    gateway>your router ip
    just a wild guess
    dm800-s=1.1 m triax motorised dish=titanium twin lnb

DIGITAL KAOS BEST SITE ON THE NET

please use the thanks button if someone has helped

        Well done...

Port 80 is the http port, used for web application.

Port 21 is the ftp port, used for transferring files via ftp.

Settings not saving is usually solved with a reflash. No reason at all for it to lock up, just happens sometimes.

I know you're recently flashed it so that doesn't make sense but I'd reflash it first.
