All channels except fta have gone since about tuesday, a mate says his have gone too. Tried rescanning but no joy I'm told Leeds is now off permanently is this true 1 week before xmas?

have u read any of the nag3/leeds threads? they've moved to nag3, the rest of the areas to follow in the coming months. not scare tactics. facts. end of free cable tv

I did try to but I didn't get anything that convinced me it was anything other than new cards for the new online services that will be available (IPTV).

Most of the threads I have read previously have all been links to other forums saying this and that and the next thing. Have there been any legit forum members who live in leeds posting of troubles? All I have seen have been 1 & 2 post newbies.

Granted I haven't looked in a while, I checked a couple of weeks ago as I was about to buy a DM800.

Maybe if you dropped in the forum on a more regular occasion except when you need help you would have more upto date info. Take a little time in reading the posts since your last visit and you will find some interesting reading

I've only became that way through making so much effort on other forums only to have noone give a crap, so I just leech like everyone else now.

Have you noticed how little help and guidance I have actually been given? Why on earth would I want to come back to a forum where noone gives a crap (or very very few people, think I got 1 response from 2 different people in a couple of threads that I started). I guess I must ask difficult questions. I tend to frequent forums that I at least get feedback in, otherwise where is the 'hook'?

I do frequent lots of forums and I did search this forum as well as many others at the time. Nothing seemed concrete, certainly noone that I knew as a regular member on any forum said they were having any trouble. I didn't make it my lifes mission though, I just spent an hour or so clicking & reading. I found searching on here quite difficult too, 2008 threads seem to come up a lot.

Will just need to wait and see I guess. My box doesn't owe me anything anyway so I'm not overly fussed.

i have just bought a dreambox 500c and im trin to set it up. I always seem to be workin so have very little time with the dreambox and forums. I have heared that v have started to encrypt the signal the same way that a canadian cable co have for the last 3 years and this has remained secure! National rollout is said to be complete by Mar 10. Has anyone heared anything about this? My source seems to be reliable!!!!

Thanks for the door warning. Its funny, 32 posts and I reckon I've helped more people than the k+ folks on here. 32 posts and not one saying "use the search". Must be some sort of record.
