    try this
    1. ftp to var/ and delete the keys and scce files
    2. then go in to usr/ delete any keys and scce file there as well
    3. then ftp back to /usr/ and put your working keys and scce files in there

    4. reboot and restart the cam

for auto foll you need to change one of the files camd_cfg

look for these lines and make sure they are the sam

    # AU
    # 00 is ignored (default)
    # 01 enable AU
    # 02 AU Auto
    A: { 02 }
Can I just say, this is the only way I can get my dm800 working, you should try this mate.

    cheers

      Hi there,

As per my post I managed to get the encrypted channels working. I just can't be sure if the AU is working as I copied the files from my working DM500 (might just be using its keys). Is there a way to clear the keys so that I can check the AU is working?

      Thanks

open the keys txt file and erasee the lines in it and save.
reboot box and if channel clears then its autoupdating.
        Setup: 2x Dreambox 800HD | 3x Dm500S on Motorised dish Setup

Thanks for that, I think I'm getting somewhere.

I removed the keys from the keylist.txt file and rebooted the box. At first I had nothing and then the channels cleared.

Now here is the strange thing. The channels have cleared but the keylist.txt file is still blank. Can't really figure that one out.

Any ideas? I'm not complaining, as it's working, I just like to know why things are happening.

Create an empty file with the same name as the Soft Cam, for example "mgcamd1.31". and save it

            Upload this file to /var/etc/plimgr/cams/

PLi Manager will now detect the new Soft Cam "mgcamd1.31"

keylist.txt is used by evocamd / softcam.key is used by mgcamd

I'm still getting nothing from it. I think I will need to give up on the PLI image. Not really sure what else to try.

Started fresh, installed the image. Copied the keys and scce folder into usr. I then chmodded all the files inside both folders. I then copied and chmodded the cam and put it in usr/bin. I then created the dummy filename and put it in said folder.

This seemed to work as I could now select 1.31 from the menu (no other cams, was either none or 1.31).

                Getting nothing
