hmmmm... S*y Sports 2

Hello people,

I have recently flashed my dreambx with the new kaos image and I have every channel I want running except S*y Sports 2. I have ss1, ss3, ssnews and ssextra but no ss2

Is there any way I can track and add this channel manually or any method?

Also, I live in the East London area.. What would be the most suitable transponder's to search with when doing a automatic transponder scan?

Please help.

i have the exact same issue, it doesn't even show up in the channel list, i had it before i re-imaged the box but can't get it back again

Scan scan scan again

Use the shortest possible cable directly from the virgin box
in your home (1m cable is best),

make sure nothing else is connected to the virgin box, ie modem

Do a bruteforce scan for the uk or your area settings and you
should have ss2.

If you don't there's just one more trick,connect an amplifier to the main box then to the dreambox, switch amp on and scan again,everything should come up.

If you still don't have it,there's a problem in your area or N3 is snooping in you area

Is there a way I can get this channel up by doing a manual scan on a certain frequency?

yea i've tried rescanning multiple times after unplugging the internet modem and no luck, if anyone knows the frequency for a manual scan that would be brillaint

Some of the PSUs on dreams are not very good and this happens when the psu is weak or getting weak i changed the psu in mine last year was having the same prob, once changed found all chans some i never knew were there .
