DM800 Install MGCamD1.31 in PLI image?

Anyone know how to do the above? I have got the Enigma image fully up and running but I want to get the PLI image working the same. I have copied the keys & scce folders from the working Enigma image and I have also copied the MGcamD file from the bin folder of my working image. I have then placed them into the appropriate folders etc and CHModded all of the files. Oh, I have done numerous re-boots too.

I can't choose Mgcamd 1.31 in the cam menu though.

Have I missed something out?

Just to reiterate. Mgcamd is working fine with the enigma image, I have copied everything from that image that I can think of in order to select the cam.

Any ideas?

Easier to download the Mgcamd from their d/l server rather trying to copy all the files across to your box. On my dm600 I always select the Blue button > S/W management > d/l latest menu > Downloads > Softcams. I am not sure if this the same with Pli dm800 image but worth a try.

They have 1.30d on there but I don't see 1.31. The only reason I am after 1.31 is that I know it works with enigma. I can't get 1.30d to work on it at all.

Should 1.3 be ok?

You could replace 1.30d with 1.31 & rename it 1.30d or do it prop & create an empty file with the same name as the Soft Cam, for example "mgcamd1.31". and save it:

Upload this file to /var/etc/plimgr/cams/

PLi Manager will now detect the new Soft Cam "mgcamd1.31"
