DM500 DM500C Blank screen while flashing Image 2.1

I was trying to flash new image 2.1 (dm.img in /tmp folder) using router (FTP) to my dreambox..

I did the following steps
1) copied the 2.1 image on my laptop
2) Flashed to DM500c using FTP under /tmp foldr
3) rename to dm.img file
4) with the help of DM500C remote control, started the flashing process..

The flashing message was on the screen for nearly 45 minutes and accidently dreambox power got cutoff ..

Now when I am trying to re-connect my dreambox, there is a blank screen.. not able to connect with my router too,,

I connected my dreambox 500c with laptop using null cable and flash the image dw2-1-fta.img .. the process completed succesfully, but when i booted my DM500c, still it is showing blank screen..

pls help

I had similar prob, I used flash-erase and it didn't work, if you haven't already just flash the image when it asks if you want to erase say no.

After flash have you done a scan for channels, does it show anything when you switch it on. The more detailed description you give of the problem the better someone will be able to help you with it..

Yes, got it.
I was using the corrupted image file. I downloaded the DK1.1 image and it worked fine..

Glad your sorted. The DW 2.1 image you FTP the whole .rar file to the Dreambox then extract it using Telnet.
