wait or kill power ?

Hi , My new dm800 clone has crashed a couple of times now , just sticks , no button presses will work , what is the best way to recover , kill the power , or wait for a response ?
sorry if this is a simple question , just want to make sure killing the power wont do any long term damage

pull the plug out
wait a few seconds
put the plug back in.

try flashing another image, yours might be corrupt or missing something.

i have read that this is normal for dm800 as they get very hot and can be unstable.
