    problem scanning

    I have quite a problem with image dk V1.1. I live in huddersfield (west yorkshire) and when I scan I have to use leicester 1 which used to bring me all channels but now I have to scan leicester 1 & 2 and leyland and lancs to get channels. but when I scan each area I loose the previous ones, they dont stay after scan for some reason. I tried to convert my dbox2 service file to dreambox with no luck (used bouqetter and d2d). Any help pls.....

    Sounds like you need to update your cable.xml file?

    Try a manual transponder scan network search instead? Go to a working channel and using the remote press:

    Menu->Setup->Service Searching->Manual Transponder Scan.

    Select the "network search" option and then press green (start scan) and sit back.

    Check your "all channels" list against the VM list of all channels to make sure you're not missing any.

    Just buggy Enigma code. Each time you scan (manual or automatic) it purges the "all channel" database and replaces it with whatever it finds on the transponders it searches. Miss out a transponder for whatever reason and those channels will not be in the lineup.

    Enigma images have no option to perform an "add new channels" scan and keep the existing channel database.

    A work around is to add the channels to a bouquet once you find them. Bouquets are permanent and will survive after scan. Their entries may loose their names after a scan and be replaced with (service removed) but just select that channel and wait a few moments and Enigma will examine the network information for that transponder and update the "all channel" database with the names of all channels on that transponder and it will sort itself out.
