Transponding issues with dm600

Hiya, as mentioned in a couple of my other posts, I'm trying to sort out a friends DM600. I've now used a number of Pli images and now have tried with an Enigma image and had the same problem with them all. I'm getting the images on the box no problem but I cant get any of them to pick up any channels, not even the free to air. Can anybody point me in the right direction. Cheers for any help, I' ve now torn out what little hair I had left.

Will be your using wrong cables.xml.
what are the scan options you see?
do you see uk frequency of 6952 and 6887?

yeah, on the enigma one that i' ve just put on i get : fast scan fife, brute force 6952 and brute force 6887

Ok, have just got a lock using the fast fife but when its finished scanning i get the message:

Tranponders scanned 48
0 new transponders
0 new Tv
0 new radio
0 new data

ps sorry to sound like a pillock but what do you mean when you say im using the wrong cables.xml.

well if you can scan 6887 and 6952, no i guess you got the correct cables.xml
If you tried both 6887 and 6952 and your in mainland uk,, please check your cable feed,,

I' ve tried using the pli image at 2 different locations with the same results. Could there be something wrong with the box itself?

try installing a different cam from your remote control, you must have your box live on your network. what cam is your box booting up with evocamd 2.14 ?

i think evocamd 2.14 is the most stable one.

what area you in ?

EDIT : when you say FAST FIFE scan, thats the Modded PLI image from Mr Dude , and its for a DM 500, you might be trying to put a 500 image on a 600 by the sounds of it.

hiya, i reinstalled pli jade onto the box and had a look at the softcam menu there doesn t seem to be any there. When i drop down the menu its just blank. I ve taken a pic of what im looking at and attatched it. but it sort of looks like

Cardserver none

X Autoreconnect Cahandler X Can handle two services

Save List stickies Card Info
Save and restart cam restart cardserver

Hope this can help you help me. I'm in the Bolton area and could you give me a guide, or point me in the right direction on how to change the cams. Cheers
