Firstly you posted your query in the dreambox forum not the eurovox, but no worries. Virmin media have stareted to roll out a new encryption called nagra3 it has already taken out every box in Ireland and Leeds area has been taken out in past couple of weeks. It is not known which area is next nor which will be last. The chances of a fix are remote. You could pick up a cheap second hand box on fleabay from someone in Leeds where they are now useless. I personally would not pay more than ?40.00 cos if you get a month or so you are in front.

I personaly would not buy a eurovox, but go for an open linux box such as the dreambox 500c
