If I order from DVB Seller, do I have to pay tax on the door or something seems it's coming from China?

No...the package is marked as a gift or a sample to the value of $16 so it passes straight through customs.

Just got one yesterday delivered, i wasnt in so Royal mail left it next door.

No extra charges, you could argue the point you pay the same price for a freeview box in the shops here.

no problems with tax bro... just what you pay is what you pay on dvbseller.com and super fast delivery... just on my experience, dont purchase a null cable from there. way to expensive and mine was faulty...

Unfortunatly I ordered 4 boxes last week, got a letter from customs here in Ireland demanding a copy of how much I paid and have detained my goods. Will have to pay 21% vat on them now I would say to get them released. Still only adds 15 euro to a box I hope anyway that is all. Annoying though as im the only one I know of to get stung. I hope they now wont monitor my address for future shipping

i got caught by costums aswell mate and im in ireland also,I've ordered many boxes from DVB seller in the past and they all arrived no probs until i used ups and got stung straight away.Lesson learned....for the sake of an extra few days waiting just wait!and dont get em via ups or any fast track courier coz costums are all over em

I ordered mine via EMS mate, have a mate near me who has got loads via ems and no hassle, I knew ups/dhl etc are dodgy from past experiences Thanks for the reply. Will see how it pans out and let you know.

i ordered 3 boxes, received after 6 days through dhl couriers, it cleared customs. no problems.

UPS are the worst ,they will charge customs if the total declared value is > $35
They charge Vat at 21% on the declared value of the good plus shipping too.
Then they add their administrative charge of ~16 euro.
DHL's admin charge is very small ~2 euro.
I always use EMS for deliveries now,they never charge customs even on amounts declared as over 100 euro.

i normally use dvbseller but wanted an alternative incase and its just exactly the same as dvbseller though they claim to have better hardware. the price advertised is a more but postage is ?10 but its the same price in total. tried the box and it works in the same way. they even gave me a free signal booster .

bought mine from them all and all ok. its got the philips tuner. didnt have DK image though.. i mailed them about this and they said they are awaiting authorization from customs?? what does that mean?

either way, i just imaged it and all good.
