clone?

Hi im totally new to dreambox, but hav had some experince with dbox2. wats with the clone box thing? if i gt a clone box, wud it mke my life more difficult?

also wats the best box for me to get, for v*rgin c*ble?

AND do the dream boxes have a talkback, i mean is it possible for anyone to find out that your using a dreambox? i.e v*rgn?

I know for the dbox2 this is pretty much impossible..

hi it's not worth getting a dreambox for cable as they are about to put N3 across England.

at this time it has not been cracked if it gets cracked i would consider going to satellite.

but to your Q it's very easy to set up clone box if you look round you will see a lot of tutorials on how to set the box up.

Hi, a clone box is exactly as it says, it's identical in most ways to the original, it's just not made by the original manufacturer, all the Dreambox clone boxes are made in China, they are slightly cheaper but, a lot of people on here have and continue to buy clones. I personally would buy one at the moment, the one you want for Vermin Media is one with a `C` on it, the C being for Cable, the cheapest models are the DM500C, next one up is the 600C PVr, same as the 500 but with the ability to add a HDD. If/when Nagra 3 is cracked then your laughing, if not then if you have a 600C you can change the tuner to a Sat one and go down the Sat route, but there is more to the Sat scene than plug and play. The Dreamboxes do not have a talkback facility on them. Hope this helps.
