DM500 MAGIC FILES - Please Help - Total Newbie, Totally Lost

    Hi,
I have a Dreambox DM-500c which I am trying to get to work. I have flashed the DK v1.1 image on the box but I am only getting free to air channels. I know that I have to put some magic files into the box to get it to work but that is where I am stuck. I don’t know how to do that. I have looked around on the forum but the guides I found were beyond me as I am a total and utter newbie and it’s my first time doing this. I am looking for a guide that will be simple and would start from the very basics.
Can someone kindly link me to a guide on the forum or explain how to copy the magic files in very simple steps. Please also tell me where to copy the magic files.
The magic files I have downloaded have 2 folders as below:
    var\bin\emu\evocamd
    var\keys
In the keys folder there are lots of files which include .bin (NagraRoms & NagraRams) and .key files. Are these the right magic files for the DM-500c?
Any help from anyone will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help.

If you seen the post before it was edited, you would have posted exacty the same, text colour was nearly same as backround colour(Default).

Now tell me, HOW did you help him??

Well, at a quick glance through your 27 posts, most of your input to forum has been looking for info, not too much in return!

Also, what ever you have stuck up your arse, pull it out and chill out a little!

Any chance you would thank me for this usefull post?

That's the spirit m8! Too much acrimony between too many fellow members at this time of the year, what matters is that the OP managed to resolve his problem.

Instead of the DK 1.1, try flashing the Neutrino image.
                        Keep dreamin'

The DK image was created by Devilfish and his associates on this site so a bit strange recommending an another image over the DK image. It will make no differnce what image you use as the encrypted channels will not clear without the 'magic files'.
