Channels not working (Commando)

Hello,

After getting the dust off my dbox2, i uploaded the new commando image, and then the Magic files.

It seems after both a brute scan and fast scan, only channel 4/bbc seems to work, the rest do not.

Am i missing something here?

Did you chmod 755 the files ?

Yes, all have been set to 755, and have double checked them.

Still 755.

Yes, set it to the correct details, and set on scan, with auto scan off. but still same problem, not sure what the problem is now.

here is a step my step of what i have done.

Got old box and put network cable in to connect to network
Uploaded commando to /tmp folder
flashed without bootloader
started up fine
uploaded the 2 magic files in the /var/bin/emu and various to /var/keys folder.
set chmod to 755 on 2 files.
pressed blue button then dbox and set both to on
set my detailed for scanning to cardiff.
done a scan
only fta showing.

Did i miss something ?! maybe i need to do something before flashing commando image?

Just to add more issues, I dont have a serial null modem cable. So cant get botlog and also have a mac, so most applications are windows based

Update:

I deleted the keylist.txt file and i thought with rebooting the box it should recreate the file, but it didnt!

i also noticed on the original file, it wasn't modified. Maybe this is the issue?

I chmod'ed those files to 755 just incase as well but no luck!

I read something about updating the "roms" but i assumed the magic files had the latest roms?
