dm500s

is it only the dm500c's that can pick up the cable?
or can i put some files on my dm500s that will scan for them

500C is for Cable hense the C on the end of it. Its got a cable tuner in it. 500S is for Sat and can not pickup cable as doesnt have a cable tuner in it.

thats what i thought mate
its just ive been doing some google searchs and some sites say you can and some say you cant via flashing or editing the xml file
but it sounded a bit dodge so i thought id ask

dreambox 500c or any 500 series for that matter are no longer made m8.

you can buy a clone from Dreambox, Dreambox 500C, Dreambox 500S, DM 7020

or a linux blackbox(exactly the same software as a dreambox) from the sponsor right at the bottom of the screen m8

Many MANY complain about dvbmonkey..I wouldnt bother with them.
