Really hope someone can help?

I have flashed the box, but cannot get any further, "Hardware not verified," and in Tuner status, it says "None,"

Cannot get any further, and have tried different images,I get
the same messages with them all. Any help, appreciated!

what images have you tried so far? Is this box a clone?

This box is obviously a clone and the image you have flashed is not for clones.

Be sure to flash a clone dm800 image.

Hya, thanks for the replies, I don't know for sure if it is a clone.
I have found out from other sources that a batch of boxes have come out of China with tuners that do not work. Which would seem to be the case with mine as,

1. First message on screen is "Hardware not verified."

2. Then further into the menu, "Tuner Empty."

With no options at all to scan.

I will try and put a cloned image on the box, if you can point me to one that definately works on other cloned boxes.

I have tried 4 images , with the same reult, the images were
ones recommended, Gemini2 etc.

Also this box is Cable and not Satellite, 800HD.

I have done all you have said,I have flashed a clone image, (Nabilosat Black Hole V0.12) I have installed a new tuner to the box, (800HD. Cablebox.) and it was recognised straight away,the original was duff, I inputted my Frequency and scanned, and up it came with loads of T.V. channels.However, just the F.T.A. are showing, so can anyone tell me how I get the other good channells to work? I am nearly there but just can't seem to fathom the last hurdle.Is there something I need to download to get it done.

Any help appreciated.

No Luck!

Downloaded the files, keys and scce, ftp keys to keys folder, and scce

to scce folder, rebooted no change anywhere, still got F.T.A. but

no others to view but plenty of black, blank screens.

Is there anything else, I can do.

What image are you using?
You stated in setup it didnt show any tuner in it? is that still the same?

The clone image that you recommended, I could not get to work,as every time it got to the end of flashing I got the message "Failed."

After trying a couple of times without success, I managed to flash another clone image, Nabilosat BlackHole V0. 12

The original tuner on the cloned box was not working and I ordered another one,replacing the old one, the new one was recognised straight away, and I thought I had cracked it, however I got "the autoupdate keys" you pointed me to and installed them in the keys and scce folders respectively, booted up and tuned to S*y S***s 1, for 10 mins but without any result.

I really am gratefull for all your help, and now feel a bit of a nuiscence, and just wish I could get this box to work.

You migh want to start the cam or download one if none installed.

Tried and Failed.

Tried the user/scce and user/keys, thanks dctyper,
But still nothing happening.

Maybe need to start from scratch, as I have swapped so many files around, keys, user, scce, to different folders, maybe
confusing everything?

Any ideas welcome.

You need to download a cam. MGCam I find works just dandy.

I have used in the past week a mgcamd, 18/12/08.

Would this mgcamd be the same as Mgcam, or are the two

different apps. Also is the one I have used out of date?

If so, can you point me to latest Mgcam.

right, download the latest cam as mention above. clear out the folders var/keys and var/scce and put the special keys/roms in usr.keys and usr/scce restart the cam by bressing the blue button then press left or right untill you see the cam. press ok to start it. and bam. free ~~~~
