The Dreambox will only play mpeg movies. Copy the movie to the shared folder once the mount is working and you will be able to access the movies using File Mode on the dreambox.

Alternatively, if you want to play avi/divx files, you can stream using VLC. VLC transcodes the avi to mpeg on the fly before streaming to the dreambox. It's not the ideal solution and doesn't work 100% but it's usually watchable.

tried the first in mpeg 1 and 2 and it didnt work. i have recorded something and was able to watch it again so i know my mount is ok

ok, got it to work, but there is no sound
