    DM800 Can't get all Channels

    Hi, new to Forum so I hope this is a valid question in the correct section, apologies in advance if I am wrong.

    I have a DM800C HD. Don't know if it is clone (How do I tell). It has scanned and found 200 odd channels. My problem is I get some but not all FTA, I also get some not all Premium Channels.

    When box boots it says BLACKHOLE (Is that an IMAGE) starting Enigma 2...

    I am able to FTP to box but dont really know what I am looking at.

    How can I see what bootloader I am using?

    Can I save everything I have just in case I screw things up and want to restore to this stage at least box boots and shows me some channels.

    Any help/direction would be appreciated.

      Hi Mate , and welcome to the forum ,
      Blackhole is indeed your image ,
      You can see what bootloader , open internet explorer and type your IP address into browser , if prompted for username is root , password is dreambox , should be able to find your BL in there ,
      Backing up should be pretty simple , should be an option in menu on your image (sorry cant be more specific but i using gemini image ,
      As for channels clearing , cant help you there , may well be issues in your area , were are you in UK ?
      Clone or original , a good indicater is normally price , original are ?300 + , clones around ?200 or less ,

      Sorry i cant help you any more , but i`m new to this box too , and it aint easy . best advice to you would be to read through the forum , longwinded yes , but informative ,

          DM800 HD Auto Scan not working

          Thanks for your welcome & help Southpaw.

          Can anyone help me with this. If I do an automatic scan it finds no cable transponders and hence no channels. I notice it uses Symbol Rate (what does that mean?) 6900. If I do a manual scan and use symbol rate of 6952 it finds channels.

          How do I set the Auto Scan to use Symbol Rate 6952 as it is really time consumming to go through all the frequencies 1 by 1 doing a manual scan.

          I also have the same problem in after it finds channels I can view some but not all FTA Channels likewise some but not all Premium Channels.

          It is a Cable Tuner, I am in the North West of England Bury area if that makes any dierence
