Can't Get s*y 1 on 500c

Is there any reason why I can't seem to get the above channel. I've done all the obvious. It was pointed out to me by my dad on his set, but I don't use my 500c that often. I said I would copy my image igf worse came to worse as a bruteforce did nothing. However I have now found out I don't have it either. Strange!

is a cable splitter used? I had to remove mine, scan again to pick up the channel and then put the splitter back in and it kept the channel
