help with dk v1.1 on a dm500c

when i tried to do ftp im getting two var follder one is just var but no key folder or scc in there 2nd one is
var_init
keys empty
scce empty --- these folders are there in var_int folder but i cant put anything in them everytime i try nothing goes in the folders,, please help

getting channels

you need to add dm key editor. press the yellow button then go to addons or dk server. after adding this put in your new key. then start the cam on sky sports 1.

thank you for reply .so after flashing i need to scan and then press yellow but to add editer and then do the ftp to add keys . Please tel me if im wrong.

Yes, there is a /var folder and a /var_init folder. You are only interested in the /var folder.

If there is no /keys or /scce folder inside the /var folder, you can create them.

You don't need a key editor plugin, if you have the correct keys and scce files, it will auto update the keys.

Try these files...

On your box, delete everything inside the /var/keys/ folder.
On your box, delete everything inside the /var/scce/ folder.
Using the files you downloaded, copy everything inside the /keys folder to the /var/keys/ folder on the box.
Using the files you downloaded, copy everything inside the /scce folder to the /var/scce/ folder on the box.

Go to Sky Sports 1, press MENU > SHUTDOWN > reboot now
When the box reboots, flick to Sky Sports 2, wait 10 secs, then flick back to Sky Sports 1.
Hopefully, after a few seconds, the picture should appear.
If not, flick about, waiting a few seconds between flicks and it should come on.
If still nothing, press INFO for more than 3 seconds and you should see the EMU Manager. Make sure Evocamd_2.12 is selected in the box at the top and press OK on the remote. It should stop & start, see if the channels come on then.

hw do you backup the image with the keys in the image?

Use DreamUp to backup the image. Everything will be backed up including all keys.
