recently bought a dreambox 500c clone, watching it perfectly well for the first day, then the picture distorted to the point you can barely make it out, reflashed the box, picture still the same. Its definately not a signal problem, is it worth cracking open the box and looking for dodgy components? Or is it just a write off? Replacement box is on its way so ive nothing to lose, any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I had this a week ago on daughters TV.
i replaced the scart with the video leads ( the red,white,yellow plugs ) works a treat and i think its a better picture than it was with a scart lead.
