I am novice and have fair idea about boxes.

What I want to get is :

How to load image file ?
How to unlock channels ?

I have FTP client on my machine and I tool some efforts to read , Now I know I also need null model cable , I will buy it today.

Can you help ?

you have posted in the cable section, so if its a cable box you wont be needing the dish you will need a cable from vm. so you need to know which box you have before continuing

to start you need an image putting on with dreamup http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ox-dreamup-33/ use anyone that stated for your box, it a personal preference really you can try a few then choose your fav

Thanks , it helped a lot. I have flashed the dreambox with DK image from this same website. I still have many channels which are still locked , I am using Astra2 28 Degree east angle . I have dish and cable coming diretly to my dreambox.

How to openn these locked chanells ?

if its sky then youll need a sky card ,there is no hack for unlocking sky channels

unless you want to purchase a sky sub and put the card in your dreambox ( which is defeating the object ) then the only way is to cardshare but thats not a subject allowed here sorry, use your friend google to search for cardshare all will be revealed
