Never heard of it! What is it? Do you have a link?
Hi devilfish i tried this with 7025 it works not sure about other boxes here is a read upsee what you make of it
DreamEmun 0.9 para Flashear por LAN:
tmbinc of DMM has a Windows-based tool created, which is the latest Dream boxes (unfortunately, are still outside DM56xx, DM500, DM7000, all without "secondstage" loader, the DM7020 probably also missing because only a "seconstage" -- update) in the network can be found.
The boxes must be in secondstage, for example by booting the lower button (or the power button at 500 + / 600PVR).
"What case?" some will ask, yes actually reaches a web browser ...
Now you need DreamEnum with neither a serial cable or a DHCP server must be on the (in the small boxes are not available) display look.
DreamEnum find the boxes regardless of the (possibly not yet eingestellen) IP address, as it has UDP broadcast works. You can then, if needed (eg no DHCP server if any) set an IP (which, incidentally, only until the next boot applies), and then comfortably the web interface of a button open.
The tool can be found here:
The tool is for people who are at an IP address can imagine something. I did it deliberately refrained from any "magic" to be installed, for example in the selection of IP address. Who its local IP address does not know whether to "ipconfig / all" referred, in particular IP address automatically "without a DHCP server (" Zero Config this 169.xxx addresses).
Short to explain:
"Re-Discover sends a new request for boxes into the net when a box after boot.
"Open ..." opens the Web interface, "Flash Image" and "Information" also (to halt the relevant pages), "Configure" starts a Telnet connection to the setup.
"Set IP, the current IP of the box on the new value. Otherwise, I do not think so much to explain.
This tool should not replace Dreamup. It is only the Web browser by flashing a little easier.

thanks for that zaf. i,m still scratching my head.
Seems straight forward, if you corrupt the bootloader on the dreambox without knowing the IP address then you'll be unable to 'find' the dreambox for web based flashing. If I've read correctly, then this utility is able to find the dreambox regardless.
