i'd say they are 99.9% chance of being fakes for that price but who cares as long as it works ok

Are the prices posted the real price if so looks like a upgrade from dbox to dream box.
If they are clone boxes do they come with big problems or are they just as good as an original box?

its whatever price you see plus ?15 for postage, usually clones are just as good as originals, the newer clone 500s claim to have better tuners than the originals, which wont be hard as they were quite poor

should have looked at the site a bit longer they show the cable version ?158, cant see a reason to switch from the 500 to a 600, ?100 xtra just for pvr think the 8000 will be the one to invest in

Was going to buy from DVBSeller but tuners not interchangeable so I forked out for an itgate tgm220 but still would like a 600c tho.

so you think spending an extra ?100 on a 600 is bad.

what you expecting to get an 8000 for ?

i got a 600s clone, and just put a cable tuner in the other day, and it works fine, and its a better tuner than the original 500 ones ( my opinion )

my 600 is a clone, and i can assure you that you can swap the tuners over, its same as plugging in a PCI card in a PC.

You should get a spare back plate with your 600, there are 2 , 1 that fits sat , and 1 that fits the cable tuner.
there are 5 screws holding the back plate to the box, 1 is on the tuner, and 2 on the scart socket, and 2 on the serial port, take them out and the box folds open, just pull out the tuner , then push the new on in, and replace back plate with new one.

There is a sim card underneath the tuner, which answers a few questions that ive seen on here before.

I didnt get a spare backplate so i had to modify it by drilling a different hole for the tuner to fir.

So if anyone out there has a spare backplate in their kit that they dont intend to use., please PM me.

my point was is it worth the xtra 100 for pvr, other than this i cant see any difference in the 500 to 600....wasnt one of the main reasons for the 600 release to try and make a stand on the clone front not for changes......i could be wrong just my thoughts on it

Yes its more money but has a lot more options and things to play with, i think that 570 price is for a genuine against all the others we talk of that are clones
