DM800 error box is now not useable

I just recieved my dm800, first one and downloaded the Bonsey Gemini image as its a clone.

I used the dream up contained within the bonsey download and once flashed, it just said error 010 Invalid image box is now not Usable.

Have I FcUked it.

Does anyone have installation instructions on how to install images on these?

What does the second stage mean

they ahve secondstage bootloaders, depending on the age depends on the bl. most clones cannot have original images so you have to rely on the correct bl or less, ie bl 72 or less

i experianced problems with bonesys image. use these here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...rce-flash-997/ and flash via dreamup. try bl 72

still the same. The box is letting me flash it ok. So i have flashed the scenond stage 72 BL and the then the image file and keep getting the following message

##09:49:13 Uploading file
09:49:26 box is flashing from its memory...
09:49:29 Flashing failed (!!! 010 INVALID IMAGE), box will be unusable now!!

Any one any ideas

Try a different image all together.

Also flash 2nd stage bootloader AFTER you have flashed the image.

I have have the same problem with bonesys 14 day epg image...but not the one he made prior to that...what gives ??..also it will not let me downgrade to BL69

if its a new clone itll be bootloader 75 also check on the bottom of the box aand see what sim its got in it cos i had same trouble mines 2.01 on it so use sim 2,01 images and now youll need to flash it with null modem cables

Its not new, i have had it for about 8 months now, i already flashed bonesys previous image dump so theres no hardware issue, i believe mine shipped with bl74 but it wasnt really, more like bl72

you could try a different version of dreamup i had simillar messages (on a dm7020) box is now unuseable and flash aborted by user ,i went through about 6 versions of dreamup and dreamup 1.3.3.4 worked ,that said i had tried 3 versions of it from different places before it worked.
