DM7025 Signal keeps cutting out when the harddrive spins down!

I have dual tuner - sat and cable.

When I switch the box on to watch cable the signal's fine for the first 10 or so mins but when the HD winds down it starts to flicker than goes black. The signal's lost

If I activate the HD again (i.e. by pressing pause) then I get a picture again

    The sat tuner's fine.

Any ideas how to fix this guys?

    Ta.

I would remove the hard drive to see if you still get the same issue. Depeneding on what happens after you remove the drive I would than re-insert the drive in case it is a hard drive seating problem.

when my harddrive is spinning i get the picture flashing, I have to manually knock it into standby on gemini 3.70. I think my HD is getting hot and interfering

I have heard of this only when using barry allen and selecting the flash image instead of one on harddrive. Maybe the image u flashed has ba in it, or if you are using ba as you have 2 tuners select an image on hard drive.

The other way if you are not using ba, install and then install second image and re boot, this will keep hardrive running though. The ba version is listed as enigma 2 but does work on e 1.

If it is the fault of harddrive powering down then install barry allen and 2 image, boot from image on hd the see what happens.

You can install more than 1 image on hd.

installing ba is not that hard, but a little more involved installing image but easy enough.

I have 4 images on my 600(mess about a lot)
