Anyone got a quick scan cables.xml for DM600

bought a DM600 of someone, before doing a fresh install i thought i would see what was on the box as it may already be set up with a cables.xml file, cams, keys + roms, did a quick flick through the channels and they wouldnt work prob because the box was from a different area or there might have been something missing, so i went to do a automatic service scan and the box had a different xml file to my old 500c one, which is now on my new 600 (brute force, 6952, ireland bruteforce etc etc), the cables.xml file that was on the box when i got it had a fast scan option which scanned all my channels within literally 2 minutes. does anyone know where i could get hold of this cables.xml file or if anyone has it and could send it me would appreciate it. because i did a fresh install i didnt think to save it, as usually my old 500c images came with this file. thanks

also if anyone knows whether box office, has to be added manually on a 600 the way you do on a 500, would appreciate it.

Download the cables.xml from the download section and copy to var/etc folder on your dreambox.

would you know what options this file has (bruteforce, fast scan, ireland brute force etc), as just sorted box out and dont want to tamper with it unless i need to, if not thanks anyway

Edit: reason im asking is just want to know if that fast scan option is available in that file, saves me risking messin fresh install. Also im on 6952 ex-cw thanks

I always prefer do the bruteforce scan as with that scan you don't need to know what symbol rate is for your area but if you know what your symbol rate than you should be able to select it from the list.

Back up your current bouquets / cables.xlm files using dreambox edit (in downloads) before you ftp the new cables.xml file and run a scan
