***HELP - Dreambox 500c reflashed - now need complete Nagra Roms***

Hi everyone,

Last week I noticed my Virgin Media channels were disappearing.
I took some advice to reflash my 500c box again with the Digital Worldz 2.1 image.

The image is now flashed, but I'm missing the Roms that I need to get the PPV channels.

I've searched a few threads and found Rapidshare links which are dead.

So. Can you help me can back to a working box again?

1. How do I get my missing channels back?
2. Can you point me to the direction of all the ROMs and fixes I need please?

My damn router needed a reboot.. all working now..

Dreambox reflashed and all is working again..

Though the keyslist.txt did not automatically update (why would that be?)... So I added in they keys manually... all working now..

Quick question with cable analogue signal soon to be phased out... how do I become future proofed?

What box (and image) will I need going forward?

Assuming that you're using evocamd, then to make it auto update you need to edit the camd_cfg file in the var/keys/ folder. The section on auto update in my camd_cfg file looks like the following;
# AU
# 00 is ignored (default)
# 01 enable AU
# 02 AU Auto
A: { 02 }

If you're using mgcamd, then it's the same edit in the mg_cfg file.

As for "future-proofed", I'm afraid that all free TV on cable in the UK is about to disappear in the next 2-3 months. VM are changing the encryption to Nagra 3 and when they do, you will lose all PPV channels. There is no hack for this. If you have a sub with VM, you will get some warning because they will send you a new card. The Leeds area has already changed and it's only a matter of time before the rest of the UK follows suit.
