The DM500C is still up. Gemini removed clone detection in version 4.3.1. Also I believe the DM500C is not a clone. The hologram as well as other components used look as the original one.

What other better images are you using?

You can put whatever image you like on your DM m8 but you quoted in post #12 that you got the message 'Clone detected' so why do you think Gemini won't suddenly slip you a killer again be yours a clone or not?
From what you have posted you are saying Gemini has killed your (maybe) genuine box?
What about the DK v1.1 image in the download section it has plenty of good reports or Nabilosat, PLI Jade.

There is no option in the software to change the 'blimg' image you just have to drop the correct one into the correct folder which over writes the original one.
Attached is the 500c 'blimg' file.
BTW the dm500c 'blimg' file does both philips and nxp 'c' tuners.
