NEED HELP SELECTING THE RIGHT DREAMBOX

Hi All,
Can anyone suggest which Dreambox i should get. My budget is around ?150. I have cable. Can anyone recommend the best place to buy one? I am thinking of the 600PVR from http://dreambox500s-seller.com/dream...r-for-sale.htm. What do you guys suggest? THANKS

It depends if you wana record TV or not.

If you don't want to record TV then Dreambox 500C or Blackbox 500C (click the banner at the bottom of the page)

I have a dm 600pvr and the remote stop working, tested the remote control and it was fine, i bought it from a well known auction site about 4 months ago and after 3 months it stopped working properley. i posted a picture of my box to try and find out wether it was a clone or not. emailed the seller and got the cold shoulder, the tuner can be removed and changed does this mean the box is legit?

some clones can have interchangeable tuners, just ask aftermath his is a clone and tuners can be swapped

I would email dvdmonkey and ask him the question. He does reply at least once.


What about the Dream security sim card, does a clone have a sim card or a chip i ask this because when you look at the very first 600 pvr picture and obviously not a clone it shows a chip and not a little sim card holder? can anyone shed any light on this matter. Can anyone recommend a dreambox repair engineer (northwest area)

i have both boxes m8 220 and dm500c clone the 220 is a far supperior box and if you buy from the official site you will get full support the software is different satkings hop this helps m8 genuine 220 or 210 ?150 inc uk postage nextday

The TCM and TGC220 come preflashed and you just scan,the support is great and you wont get a better bunch of people behind you although the 600 is a nice tidy little box it can sometimes give trouble re overheating,plus youll have to get a hdd and fit it coz they dont come with them.
I'd go itgate if i were you,but it all depends what you use it for...recording etc.
