PLZZ HELP !!

hey all ... i was installing a new image using flash to my DM500S it was the new PLI image ... anyhow the process stuck at 83 % percent for a long time so i unpluged the power cable and reconnect it ... now ofcourse the DM doesnt work .. it doesnt have an ip address so i cant use normal programs ... my pc doesnt have a vaild null modem port .. i bought a usb to serial rs232 converter but when dreamup tells me to connect my DM and i power it on no connection is valid .. does that mean that my converter isnt workin or my DM is dead .. plzzz help

Sounds like its bricked almost certainly need to revive via dreamup with a null modem cable. someone near should hopefully help you.
